This discussion event focuses on the notion of self-help as a way to explore and contextualise some of the issues raised by the exhibition Loophole to Happiness at Muzeum Sztuki. The panellists debate self-help culture both as a symptomatic feature of globalised society and as a term that may open up our understanding of everyday forms of resistance under socialism.

Participants in the panel include curators Maja and Reuben Fowkes (translocal.org), artists Nada Prlja (London) and Janek Simon (Krakow), curator Kuba Szreder (Warsaw) and art historian Tomasz Zaluski (Lodz).
